Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will help ensure the excellence of our products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide testing estimates for new features
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems
• Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
• Help improve existing QA processes and testing methodologies
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and test coverage

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with test case design and execution
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of agile development methodologies
• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Experience with performance testing tools
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks
