We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our dynamic team at Pulp Strategy. As a Market Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to support our media planning and strategy. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of media trends, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Market Research:
– Conduct thorough market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.
– Utilize various research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis tools.
– Should have good knowledge on doing secondary research
2. Media Landscape Analysis:
– Evaluate media consumption patterns and identify emerging trends in the media landscape.
– Analyze the effectiveness of different media channels and platforms.
3. Competitive Analysis:
– Monitor and analyze competitors’ advertising and marketing strategies.
– Provide insights on competitive positioning and market share.
4 .Data Collection and Analysis:
– Collect and analyze data related to media campaigns, audience demographics, and advertising effectiveness.
– Interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights for the media planning team.
5 .Reporting and Presentation:
– Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research findings and insights.
– Communicate research results to internal teams and clients in a clear and compelling manner.
6. Collaboration:
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including media planners, account managers, and creative teams, to align research findings with campaign objectives.
– Collaborate with external research partners when necessary.
7. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
– Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in consumer behavior relevant to media and advertising.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
– Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or similar role in a media agency or related industry.
– Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data visualization techniques.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
– Familiarity with media planning and advertising concepts.
– Proficient in using research tools, databases, and analytics software.
– Proficient with MS office tools.
– Demonstrated strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align market research findings with broader business strategies.
– Proven experience in translating market insights into actionable recommendations that contribute to business growth.
